My
Story

Floridian. Grew up in good ole' Boynton Beach, retirement city! My name is Danielle Dee Dodge, artist tag Dee Vinci.

I'm moody. I'm human. I've been arting since elementary school and somehow avoided fame and fortune this whole time. Phew.

I'm the artist friend you come for all the best ideas. I could draw what you want but I'd rather draw what I want.

I'm the scientist of art. I try things. I fail. I observe. I'm experimental.

I've won awards and contests. Got some gift cards and certificates. Artists don't get trophies, do they?

I know what failure looks like. Let me count the ways:

I went to college and almost got an art degree. I've purchase web domains, and paid for ads. I've networked on all social media platforms and print-on-demand stores: tiktok, twitter, facebook, instagram, patreon, koffee, linkedin, etsy, behance, square, fine art america, redbubble, zazzle, deviant art, and more. I hosted sip and paint parties of classes up to 130 people. I participated in Miami Art Basil, put my art in galleries, and streamed live painting on twitch.

I've attended online marketing and small business seminars. I tried NFT art. I've worked with other big name artists, and helped paint the longest road tattoo in the world in downtown west palm beach.

Grumpy Gals is inspired by my failure. By those who have told me I'm not good enough. I  hope Grumpy Gals lets me quit my day job. I hope it inspires more women to embrace their face. Sometimes, we have to be grumpy before we feel like smiling again. My philosophy is that it's ok to be.

I live in these difficult emotions, and let them pass through as emotions tend to do. I  practice social courage, and show up as my authentic self even if it's uncomfortable for others. Your face isn't here for anyone's entertainment. This energy exists in my art.

Moody. Grumpy. Intolerable.

Making Paper Craft Art

Hand Embellishments

Each hand-embellished artwork is first printed to order with minimal detail. I  then hand paint, draw,  cut,  glue, glitterize, sparklize, and beautify the image as I see fit! Each hand embellished artwork isn't simply a digital print. It is an original digital collage that is unique, and one-of-a-kind.

Delivering Package

Packaging, Shipping, Returns

The unboxing experience is something important to me. I find so much joy in opening a nicely packaged purchase, and I imagine you do too. Thats why I carefully wrap your order with beautiful tissue, cards, and certificate of authenticity placed neatly and safely in the shipping container. I then place appropriate care stickers on study packaging to avoid damage during shipping.

Processing your order can take anywhere from 1-3 business days. The longer I can work on your order, the more details there will be. Your patience is greatly appreciated! I ship USPS ground within the continental US.

Artwork that you purchase is made to order by hand. For that reason, I only accept returns on unused and unworn apparel and merchandise at this time. If for any reason you are unhappy with your art, please reach out to me and I will work with you. I want you to be please with your purchase and experience!

Commercial & Collabs

Please reach out to me for licensing rights or commercial designs. For collaboration, please put in the subject COLLAB.
